Brock loved learning and was a critical thinker who always offered a unique perspective. His years as a student of Malaspina (VIU)’s Liberal Studies program were transformative, and he became a vocal advocate for the program and for liberal studies in general.

This award in Brock’s memory will be given annually to a Vancouver Island University student entering their 3rd or 4th year of the Liberal Studies program.
